Jack's obituary (ECM Post Review)--
Jack Eiffler, age 76, of North Branch fought a courageous three-year battle with cancer and passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Fariview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming with his loving family by his side.
Jack was born on January 8, 1932 in Friesland, Minnesota to Arthur and Anna (Doncaster) Eiffler. He was united in marriage to Ardis Sederberg on September 28, 1962 at the First Lutheran Church in Harris. To this union one daughter was born, Tammy who married Eric Frank.
Jack was an Army veteran, was very involved in the community of North Branch as a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years. He worked for North Branch Power and Light retiring after 28 years. Jack will be remembered for his love of life, enjoying fun times with his family and friends, deer hunting, fishing and traveling with his daughter, Tammy and her husband Eric.
His wife Ardis, parents Arthur and Anna, brother, James, brothers-in-law Al Hjerpe and Chuck Hansen preceded Jack in death. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Eric) Frank of North Branch; sisters, Shirley Hjerpe of Rush City and Jean Hansen of Rush City; sister-in-law, Nellie Eiffler of North Branch and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed for his social spirit and sense of humor.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 23, 2008 from First Lutheran Church in Harris with Rev. Richard Mork officiating. Music was provided by Carolyn Holmstrom and Jon Ekstrom. Casketbearers were Randy Sederberg, Cling (Clint) Sederberg, Reid Mosloski, Brad Amschler, Steve Hjerpe and Rodney Grise. Honorary casketbearers were Scott Sederberg, Kevin Sederberg, Leroy Hischler (Hischer) and Merrill Allen. Interment was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in North Branch with Military Honors provided by North Branch Post #85
Arrangements were under the direction of Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
