Mrs OIson Services Held
Death came Sunday at Rush City Hospital to a life-long Rush City resident, Mrs Kenneth Olson, 40, after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday from First Lutheran Church, Rush City, with Pastor Thomas Delk officiating. Lawrence Bergfalk sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Mrs Lloyd Finnie was the organist. Pallbearers were Terry Mach, Gary Lindstrom, Harold (Sonny) Nelson, Clifford Nelson, John W. Nelson, and Robert Walton.
Burial was at First Lutheran Cemetery, Rush City.
A family service was conducted at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City on Monday evening, Jan. 29.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs Clarence Sederberg of Rush City, Delores Jane Sederberg was born at Rush City on March 7, 1932.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and attended Rush City Schools. On April 16, 1950, she and Kenneth Olson were married.
Mrs Olson was preceded in death by a brother, Willard, who died in 1958.
Besides her husband, Kenneth, she is survived by a son, Gary, of Rock Creek; one daughter, Tamara, at home; two grandchildren, Alissa and Christopher; her parents, Mr and Mrs Clarence Sederberg; one brother, Wallace Sederberg of St. Paul; five sisters: Dorothy (Mrs Robert Knochke), Arlene (Mrs Wendell Dahl), both of Rush City, Shirley (Mrs Dale Olson) of Cambridge, Bernice (Mrs Gerald Alguire) and Janet (Mrs Robert Kennen), both of Rush City; also nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
