Mr G Richard laid to rest Tues Aug 31

Funeral services for Mr George Richard were held on Thyseday afternoon, August 31., 1954. at twp o'clock from the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush citywth the reverends Albert W. Nash of the First Baptist Church city and Roger Goodman of Elim Baptist Church of Minneapolis is officiating.

Rev. Albert W Mash rendered two solos "Safe in the arms of Jesus" and " He the Perly gates will open" with Mrs C.C. Wilson at the organ.

Intermetent was in the Oak Grove Cemetary, Harris. There were many beatiful floral tributes with relatives and friends.

George Richards son of the late Joseph and Martha Richard. was born near Harris Minnesota December 7th 1871. He departed to be with the lord, whom he loved, August 27th 1954, at the rush city hospital at the age of 82 years, 8 moths and 20 days.

Mr Richard accepetd the Christ as his saviur at an early age and became a member of the Harris Baptist Church, later his membership was transfered to the First Baptist Church of Rush city.

He was united in Marriage to Hilda C Danielson of Spring Lake community, February 6th 1902, who precede him in death March 17th 1954. to this union was born two sons Theodore of Rush city with whom he made his home these last years, and Hilbert of Denver, Colorado, and one sister Wedmark of Centralia, Washington.

Left to mourn his departure are the two sons, Theodore and Hilbert, one sister, Anna Wedmark, five grandchildren and Clara Mrs W.P. Swanson of Harris who was like a daghter to him, having made her home with the Richard family in her childhood days, and also a host of friends and relatives.
